Loose Button Luxe Box: March

My latest Luxe Box arrived this week! Is there anything better than getting packages at work?

They’ve gone back to the black box design (last month’s red box was just for the Flare Magazine edition — on that note, I’ve received my first two Flares too, nice but I don’t think I’ll continue the subscription). Inside, under the ‘Made for Heather’ sticker, I find:
  • A first anniversary greeting card printed on seeded paper — I can tear it up and plant it to grow wildflowers, such a great Spring idea!
  • The promised replacement Shu Uemura Essence Absolue vial, which arrived intact, now I can test it (which I really need, such flyaway hair these days)
  • A writeup card about my four new samples, which are:
    • Cargo Better-Than-Waterproof Mascara — Sample’s 4.5mL, the full size retails for $20. I’ve already tested this, and I must say it is so much better than the Cargo Lash Activator Mascara I received last month! Goes on smoothly, doesn’t make my lashes insane but definitely makes them longer. Dries quickly, doesn’t come off all over my face and NO FLAKES, yay! This one is definitely staying in my purse.
    • OPI Avojuice Skin Quenchers hand & body lotion in Winter Huckleberry — Sample size of 30mL, full size of 600mL is $15. Not all that excited about this one, I have more hand cream than I know what to do with, but it does smell nice.
    • Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant — Sample size is 13g, the full size of 75g sells for $72. This is an interesting idea — it’s a powder that you use as an exfoliant, the suggestion being to add powder to wet hands and rub to make a paste, then use that on your face. I’m curious about this one, I’ll try this over the weekend…
    • Joico K-Pak Revitaluxe — The sample is huge (50mL, compared to the full size of 125mL for $50), and it’s essentially a repairing conditioner. I can always use conditioner.
I’ve also started trying out the DDF Advanced Firming Cream from last month’s box. I’m seeing a definite improvement, but I think I won’t be spending $130 on it! I’m only using it around my eyes and my frown lines though, rather than all over my face and neck, so the sample has already lasted me over a week and a half, so it might actually be worth it at this rate, hmm…

Again, if you think you’d like to try a Loose Button box for yourself, I know they’re fully subscribed but you can get on the waiting list, consider doing it by following this link (http://luxebox.loosebutton.com/friend-sign-up?referrer=ZmFjZjJhYjQ=) and shoot me a message, so they know it’s from my recommendation.
