Anyway, I needed the shine — it’s starting to get cold, and I went to see a gastroenterologist a few days ago, just to make sure I don’t have an ulcer or something, I’ve been getting a LOT of reflux at night, it really started a couple of years ago but it’s worsened lately. They gave me something to relax me, then I had to sit leaning over the back of a chair while they shoved a tube down my throat — not the most comfortable experience I’ve ever had, but not nearly as bad as I thought it would be! I had my iPad to play with in the recovery room (comfy chairs and subdued lighting, I kinda fell asleep). I hope we figure this out soon, I’d really love to be able to sleep at night!

Sunshiney nails and a throat tube
