People (not just men) who think 'so he grabbed your ass/complimented your shape/whistled as you walked past, it's not that bad, get over it' - the problem is not exactly what was done/said in these situations (although they're bad enough), it's what we believe might follow.
It really is true what they say (attributed usually to Margaret Atwood): "Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them."
And don't say it's unfounded, there have been enough news stories about men shooting random women in the face for not stopping to talk to them and similar completely out-of-the-blue violence for us to NOT think this as a matter of personal safety.
So no, we won't just 'get over it.'
